We had just arrived off a long flight and the welcome at Villa Russell was amazing. Despite our early arrival, the hosts warmly greeted us and provided beach towels and recommendations for the nearby beach. The room was clean and comfortable, with added touches that made it feel like a five-star hotel. The breakfast served on the balcony had stunning views and delicious options. The location was perfect, within walking distance of all attractions and amenities. a lovely B&B with friendly hosts.

I had the most incredible stay at a charming B&B with breathtaking views of the bay. The room was spacious, clean, and had a private balcony where I could enjoy the stunning panorama. The bed was perfect, and the attention to detail in the room was evident with beautiful artwork. The bathroom was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, including plush robes. The hosts were friendly, courteous, and a wealth of knowledge about local activities. The breakfasts were delicious, and the option to go sailing on the owner's yacht was a delightful experience. I highly recommend this fabulous place for a relaxing and memorable stay.

Fantastic view, perfect location. Large, comfortable room with everything we needed. Covered veranda to watch the weather. Sue and Lulu the dog were great hosts.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel! The location is perfect, nestled on top of a hillside at the end of the Main Street, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding bush and bay. We were within walking distance to everything and enjoyed exploring the nearby beaches and hills. The service here was top-notch, with attentive and informative hosts who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The room itself was spacious and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and a large bathroom. We loved relaxing on the balcony, listening to the sounds of the birdlife and taking in the stunning panorama.

Our stay was exceptional! The location was perfect, just a short stroll from the bustling pier in Bay of Islands. We enjoyed stunning sea views from our room's balcony and the private garden also provided a peaceful retreat. The luxurious room was spacious and well equipped with a cozy bed and lovely bathroom. The breakfast was delicious, with homemade jams and marmalade, and great coffee. The hosts were friendly, interesting, and accommodating, which made us feel right at home. We also loved their friendly dog Lulu.

The parking options were a bit limited, which might have been difficult if we had more than one vehicle.

The bed was cozy and the room was spotless. The breakfast offered was delicious and generous. The location was ideal for sightseeing and visiting the beach. It was easy to find and there were a lot of historical sights to visit. The hosts made us feel safe and were very friendly.

The decor was not to my taste and some of the furnishings could have been updated. The room was a bit small and cramped.

The view from the balcony is amazing and the breakfast served is good. The bed was very comfortable and the shower has good water pressure. The location is convenient, close to town and the ferry.

The garden is not well maintained and the room had an unpleasant musty smell. The Wi-Fi connection was unreliable and slow.

This hotel is located in a great spot, close to the beach and surrounded by a beautiful garden full of kiwis. The breakfast is outstanding with homemade yogurt and granola and fresh fruits, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. It's also super clean, and the hotel facilities are excellent.

Couldn't stay longer.
